Pro 2nd and Pro 1st services
Pro 2nd and Pro 1st allow you to benefit from exclusive services for optimum flexibility:
- Free exchange and refund up to departure and within the hour following your departure in the departure station (exchange for the next train for the same destination); after departure, Pro rate tickets can be exchanged and are refundable for 60 days with an administrative charge of 50% of the value of the ticket.
- Simplified purchase and exchange for your tickets:
- Dedicated Minute Pro Exchange Terminals in the station allow you to exchange your ticket in less than one minute for the next departure. This service is open about 30 minutes before the train departs.
- Express Pro Counters for immediate departures and for your exchanges, at the Paris Montparnasse, Paris gare de Lyon and Paris gare de l’Est stations (Monday to Friday, 6 a.m. to about 8h30 p.m).
- Express Pro Line has a direct exchange service that can be reached by dialling +33 (0) 892 35 35 35 (say "Pro" or dial "#01", international rate).
If you are travelling in 1st class, you can exchange your ticket without having to go to the counter. If you are travelling in 2nd class, you can exchange your ticket by telephone and retrieve your new ticket from a Self-Service Terminal. - Last Minute Access: if you didn't have enough time to exchange your ticket, your reservation allows you at the last moment to take the previous or following train, to the same destination, without exchanging your ticket (but there is no guarantee of a seat).
Exclusive Pro 1st services: - Pro 1st Area: this area on board 1st class provides you with priority seating, with other Pro travellers, for increased calm and comfort.
- Access to the Grand Voyageur Rooms: with a Pro 1st ticket, you have access to the Grand Voyageur Rooms, special welcoming areas in 10 major stations that offer coffee, reading materials, wifi connection, as well as a Service Counter (arranging messenger service, shirts available for purchase, etc.)
- Pro Taxi Reservation: with a Pro 1st ticket, you can reserve a taxi on board in 1st class and free of charge (excluding approach charge collected by the taxi which is about 15€ in Paris), that will be waiting for you when you arrive (service available Monday to Friday, subject to availability).*
- Meals at your seat: innovative and balanced meals are offered and you don't have to move from your seat (services offered at meal times on TGV lines between Paris <> Lyon, Marseille, Montpellier, Nantes, Rennes, Bordeaux, Strasbourg)
