I am not able to pay for my train ticket on line / my payment is not accepted

When you enter your bank card number (16 digits without spaces, with a valid expiration date and the 3 digits on the back of the card), the SNCF payment site consults the bank card authorisation centre which allows or does not allow the card to be debited.


 
The maximum number of transactions per day is 3 for a total of 1500 euros per day. If you make a mistake when entering your bank card number, it is locked for 24 hours for security reasons.

If your banking transaction is refused on-line, you can try your reservation again only after waiting for at least 24 hours.
