Exchange

Where: in any SNCF station or shop or the travel agency where you bought your tickets.
Automatic tickets in France: save time.
The automatic ticket machines are located in the SNCF stations and shops, and allow exchanging your ticket for a booking on an identical journey the same or the next day (the ticket must have a magnetic strip).

Distinctive feature of the Corail Téoz offer -
Leisure Offer :
The Leisure tickets and the tickets linked to discount cards or social rates are exchangeable and refundable until the day before departure - free of charge.
On the day of travel they are exchangeable and refundable with a fee of 3 euros per person and per ticket for tickets on discount cards or at social rates and 10 euros for tickets at the Leisure tariff. After the departure of the train the tickets are non-exchangeable and non-refundable.
Don't forget that your ticket is only valid on the train you have booked.

Note: The Téoz Prem’s tickets are non-exchangeable and non-refundable.

Pro Offer:
The Téoz Pro offer was created for you : exclusive services for optimal flexibility and a privileged treatment for more tranquillity.
For easy adaptation of last minute changes in your schedule find the Bornes Echange minute Pro and the Express Pro counters.
You can exchange your tickets, free of charge, until the departure of the train and even up to 1 hour afterwards in the departure station.

Corail offer with and without booking

The exchange of a Corail ticket without booking:

is free until a few minutes before the departure of your train: to obtain full or part of the initial journey: a ticket with booking / a lower discount / an upgrade or in case of the exchange of a ticket « Leisure week-end ».
with a 10 % fee* for the other tariffs.

Some tickets are non-exchangeable : Prem’s, Last Minute Offers, Printed Ticket®, Fixed night TGV and some international tickets.

The Corail tickets with booking are exchangeable:

100 % before the train departure (except for some non-exchangeable tariffs, like Prem’s).
by 50 %* for the Full Tariff, season, military tickets after the train departure.

The other tariffs are non-exchangeable and non-refundable after the train departure.

After the departure of your Corail train you can make a "seated" booking for 1.5 € during the opening period of the booking of the train of your choice. You can also take another train (without guaranteed seat) for the whole validity period of your ticket.

*The fee is calculated on the price of the initial journey

Refund

You have bought your ticket on www.tgv-europe.com

You are in France: Confirm your seat availability before the departure of your train, SNCF shop or on 36 35 (0.23 €/min): you will avoid a fee. As soon as the booking has been cancelled, return your ticket to the SNCF customer relations service (address below).

You are outside France: Confirm your seat availability before the departure of your train in a CFF, SNCB, NS, CFL station or SNCF shop: you will avoid a fee. As soon as the booking has been cancelled, return your ticket to the SNCF customer relations service.

Under which conditions:

The Corail tickets with booking are exchangeable:

100 % before the train departure (except for some non-exchangeable tariffs, like Prem’s).
by 50 % after departure for Full Tariff tickets up to 60 days after the planned date of travel

The Corail tickets without booking are exchangeable:

with a 10 % deduction* from the day of purchase until the end of the use period indicated on your ticket

*The fee is calculated on the price of the initial journey

Guaranteed time promise

Your Corail, Téoz or Lunéa train reached its destination 30 minutes later than the planned time, for a journey of or superior to 100 km :

If the delay is attributable to the SNCF*, a compensation in the shape of a «Bon Voyage» is offered to the passengers. It represents one third of the price of the ticket. The amount of the compensation cannot be less than 4.60 €**.

To receive this compensation:
Complete the envelope «regularity» available when you get off the train, insert the original ticket. Mail it (postage paid in France).

*This commitment is invalid if the cause of the delay is not attributable to the SNCF (characterised act of malevolence, demonstration by persons not belonging to the SNCF, obstacle on the tracks ...).
