With the Leisure tariffs, valid for all without age distinction, you can obtain freely exchangeable and refundable tickets up to the day before departure, at always attractive prices. Nothing is simpler:

TGV, comfort and services for all
On board
TGV seats were designed for your wellbeing. You enjoy optimal comfort with adjustable seats with headrest, folding tables, footrest and individual reading lamp. In 1st class and on some TGV, electric plugs allow you to connect your computer or mobile phone.
Bar car TGV :
The bar menu regularly changes. Balanced and varied, adapted to all tastes, it offers hot meals, set meals and an extensive drinks selection. Our trains are also fitted with automatic dispensers with a wide choice of cold and hot drinks, snacks and sweets.
Office spaces :
Two office spaces with electric plugs are available on 2nd class platforms in the coaches with new Lacroix interior. They will enable you to work with 2 or 3 persons in a special space, to prepare a meeting and to connect your computers and mobile phones.
Family spaces and nursery :
Teach your children to appreciate travel! The TGV Family spaces offer four facing seats isolated from the rest of the coach with a half wall in glass. The seats of the chairs can be lifted and the foldable central tables provide a larger playing space and the seat tables become playing tables to keep the children occupied during the journey (only in the new TGV interior). The nursery at proximity of the Family spaces is fitted with a nappy changing table and a bottle warmer.
Installations for mobility impaired travellers :
In the 1st class of every TGV a special space is reserved to people in wheel chairs. This space is accessible by booking with a 2nd class ticket.

- For Leisure tariffs
The Leisure tickets and the tickets linked to discount cards or social rates are exchangeable and refundable and refundable until the day before departure - free of charge.
On the day of travel, they are exchangeable and refundable with a fee per person per journey: of 3€ for tickets linked to discount cards or social rates, and 10€ for tickets of a value lower than 20€.-, this fee is 50% of the ticket value) for tickets at the Leisure tariff. This fee is only applied once for journeys including one or more connections.
After the departure of the train the tickets are non-exchangeable and non-refundable.
- For TGV PRO tickets
A super flexible TGV PRO ticket: you can exchange your TGV PRO ticket, free of charge, until the departure of the train and even up to 1 hour afterwards only at the departure station.
The refund is total until departure. Finally, your ticket is exchangeable or refundable with a 50% deduction up to 60 days after departure of your initial train.
Guaranteed time promise
Has your TGV reached its destination more than 30 minutes later than the planned TGV time, for a journey of or superior to 100 km ?
If the delay is imputable to the SNCF*, a compensation in the shape of a «Bon Voyage» is offered to the passengers. It represents one third of the price of the TGV train ticket. The amount of the compensation cannot be less than 4.60 €**.
To receive this compensation :
Complete the envelope «regularity» available when you get off the train, insert the original ticket. Mail it (postage paid in France).
*This commitment is invalid if the cause of the delay is not imputable to the SNCF (characterised act of malevolence, demonstration by persons not belonging to the SNCF, obstacle on the tracks ...).

As a European high speed network, Thalys provides multiple connections between France, Belgium, the Netherlands and Germany. 17 cities in total benefit from direct connections.
Thalys also provides 6 daily connections between Brussels and Cologne in 2h20, up to 8 connections between Brussels and Amsterdam in 2h40 (via Antwerp, Rotterdam, The Hague and Schiphol airport) and 6 daily connections between Paris and Cologne in 3h50.
In order to provide you with even better service, Thalys is giving you a wider choice of fares for all your journeys from 1 September. Simpler and more flexible, they have designed new deals to meet your hanging needs and travel habits.
All the fares are available on a oneway ticket basis. And fares are flexible as well with prices to suit all pockets. Une souplesse qui se retrouve également côté prix. To obtain the best deal for your journey up to 3 months before departure, there’s only one thing to remember: the earlier you book, the better the price!

Comfort and services
- the tickets for public transport in Brussels, Amsterdam and Paris can be purchased in the bar, without price supplement.
- the clients can make and receive calls on their mobile phone during the whole journey. They can use the platforms at the extremities of every coach or the bar outside busy periods to make their calls in a quiet place
- the clients can place their luggage with compulsory labels in the spaces at the extremity of the coaches or in the baggage racks above the seats, restricted to two suitcases and one hand luggage per person.

The Thalys service is based on Brussels-Paris: a departure from Brussels midi every 30 minutes at 13 and 43 minutes past every hour and a departure from Paris Nord every 30 minutes at 25 and 55 minutes past every hour.

For frequent travellers
The Lys card- the individual and nominative Lys card is valid for 3, 6 or 12 months from the date chosen by the client. It allows unlimited travel between Belgium and Paris with 50% discount on the HI-Life price.
- the Thalys Corporate Programme is destined for enterprises whose employees frequently travel between Paris, Belgium, the Netherlands and Germany.
- the programme reduces the travel expenses by offering a discount of 15 % on the HI-Life ticket price.
- the members of the Programme may exchange their ticket without restrictions and free of charge :
- before the time of departure: in all the stations and authorised travel agencies
- until 1 hour after departure: in the departure station indicated on the Thalys ticket
- the members of the Programme can be refunded by 100% before the departure, and up to one hour after departure in the departure station indicated on the Thalys ticket. Later than one hour after departure the deduction is 50%.
Thalys offers its clients a loyalty programme called Cybelys to make their journey easier by offering them a range of services. For example:

Conditions
The Thalys tickets are refundable:
- by 100% before departure and up to one hour after departure in the Thalys station of departure if you hold a HI-Life, TCP, Kid & Co or Kid ticket. Later than one hour after departure you will be refunded 50%.
- by 50% before departure and up to one hour after departure in the Thalys station of departure if you hold an OptiWay, Youth, Senior, and Adult&Co ticket. No refunds afterwards.
Smoove tickets are non-refundable.
Commitment of guaranteed timetable
Your Thalys International train reached its destination 30 minutes later than the planned time, on an international journey? Except in case of force majeure, the client is compensated.
If the delay is higher than 30, 60 or 120 minutes, Thalys respectively offers 20, 50 or 100% of the price of the relevant journey. The amount of the compensation cannot be less than 5 €**.

The “Business Premier” class

*Check-in must occur 30 minutes before the departure of the train to allow for security operations. They are carried out to guarantee passenger safety and are similar to those carried out in airports. This time delay is restricted to 15 minutes for the clients holding a Business Premier ticket.
The passengers must bring the necessary documents for customs and police formalities (passport or identity card, visa if required).
St Pancras International since 14 November 2007
Wednesday 14 November 2007 was a big day for Eurostar. It was the day Eurostar launched its services at St Pancras International in the centre of London and the day Eurostar launched the first high speed line of the United Kingdom. This means that the length of the journey to London is reduced by at least 20 minutes, with a better punctuality and quicker journeys without interruption.
Establish contact
Of all the stations in the centre of London, St Pancras International is the one with the best connections. It is located at the junction of six underground lines but also some seven train companies divided between St Pancras International, King’s Cross and Euston. For the Eurostar passengers arriving from the continent, it is even easier to explore the United Kingdom as they only need one train change to go north.
You can reach the Roman ruins of York (from King's Cross), the venerable forests of Nottinghamshire (from St Pancras International) and the football, shopping and nightlife of Manchester (from Euston) in less than 2 hours and 15 minutes from St Pancras. A bit further afield in the countryside you can discover the region of the Lake District (from Euston) and the canyons of Scotland (from King’s Cross).

For a delay of 61 to 180 minutes (included) on all the regular journeys, with the exception of the service to the French Alps and Avignon, or a delay of 121 minutes and more for the services to the French Alps and Avignon** : you will be offered a free one-way ticket or a discount of 50 % on the price of any Eurostar return journey on the following lines: London Waterloo or Ashford International <> Paris Gare du Nord or Brussels-Midi/Zuid, or Lille Europe, or Calais-Fréthun.
For a delay of 181 minutes and more on all the regular journeys, with the exception of the service to the French Alps and Avignon: you will be offered a refund for the delayed journey ( for example: if you bought a return ticket half of the paid price will be refunded).

TGV Lyria: the Swiss train
The Lyria TGVs open wide the doors of Switzerland.

The main assets
- Bar coach on all the TGV Lyria with snack bar: breakfasts, sandwiches, hot meals, salads, hot or cold drinks, sweets.
- A catering service at your seat provided by the Compagnie des Wagons Lits is offered to the 1st class passengers on the lines Zurich-Basel-Paris, Lausanne-Paris and Bern-Paris. Breakfast, lunch or dinner, formulas (first course+meal or meal+dessert) are offered to you. This catering service at your seat can be booked and paid simultaneously to the TGV Lyria ticket, or directly on board of the train.
- Free daily papers in 1st class (except Geneva - Paris): Tages Anzeiger or Basler Zeitung at departure of Basel and Zurich, Le Temps or Der Bund on departure of Bern and Lausanne and Le Figaro or Le Monde when departing from Paris.
- The 1st class coaches are fitted with power contacts 220V on the line Bern/Lausanne-Paris, Paris-Zurich and on the Duplex material between Paris and Geneva.
- Commercial speed of 320 km/h on the Paris-Zurich line,
- A more modern environment with interior design designed by Christian Lacroix on the line Zurich-Paris,

Guaranteed time promise
If a delay of at least 30 minutes is recorded on the journey of the TGV Lyria (for a journey of at least 100 km) a compensation equal to one third of the total value of your ticket can be paid out to you, in the shape of Bons Voyages*.
To obtain this compensation, you only need to complete the envelope « regularity » that you were given at the end of the journey and insert your original ticket, then post the envelope without stamp, without letter and 45 days after the travel date at the latest.

Corail offer with and without booking
The exchange of a Corail ticket without booking:

The new high-speed network on line on 10th June 2007
On 10th June 2007, the French and European high-speed rail network will be enjoying an extraordinary advance with the start of commercial service for the new TGV lines.
For the populations, the regions and the countries concerned, the new network constitutes a great opportunity to open up and develop; for SNCF, the French Railways, it represents an important milestone in the development of its domestic and European network, and a new step forward in customer service.
On Sunday, the 10th of June, in the morning, 30 French and foreign cities that were connected to Paris the day before at normal speed will suddenly be served at very high-speed by TGV: 320 kph, a speed never yet experienced in revenue service.
New high-speed network
20 city-centre stations in the north-eastern quarter of France and a dozen cross-border destinations linked with high-speed to Paris:
From 10th June 2007, the new network will offer direct links between Paris and 20 city-centre stations in the north-eastern quarter of France; it will also link the French capital to a dozen cross-border destinations.
Journey times, cut back by a third and sometimes even a half from today’s journey times, will afford new opportunities to the populations and regions concerned: better accessibility, which will allow to fulfil travel urges and to lend new touristic and economic life to the regions that will be benefiting from the TGV effect.
Paris will be only 45min from Reims (1h35min presently), 1h25min from Metz, 1h30min from Nantes (almost 3h currently), 2h20min from Strasbourg (4h presently) or 3h20min from Basel, 4h35 from Zurich and less than 4h from Stuttgart and Frankfort.
New cross-border services
To/from Switzerland:
- 4 round trips daily between Basel and Paris.
- 2 round trips daily between Zurich and Paris; a third service all the way to/from Zurich will be cut into service in December 2007.
To/from Germany:
- 3 daily services between Paris and Stuttgart. A 4th round trip will be added in December and a direct service to/from Munich.
- 3 round trips between Paris and Frankfurt 2 of them with a transfer at Saarbrucken. From December 2007, 5 direct round trips with no break of load will be offered between Paris and Frankfurt.
To/from Luxembourg:
- The target service - 5 round trips to/from Paris daily - will be offered right from the start of service on 10 June 2007.
New direct links between the regions
Thanks to Strasbourg's down-town station and to the three newly-created stations on the high-speed line - Lorraine TGV, Meuse TGV and Champagne-Ardenne TGV – the new TGV lines will offer direct links between the Alsace, Lorraine and Champagne-Ardenne regions on the one hand and the Ile-de-France region and the North, the Southwest and the West of France on the other.
Strasbourg will be only 3hr20min from Lille and 2hr25min from the Charles de Gaulle international airport TGV station; Lorraine TGV station, located between Metz and Nancy, will allow the people of Lorraine to get to Lille in 2hr05min or Marne-la-Vallée Chessy TGV station in a mere 1hr10min: Champagne-Ardenne TGV station for its part will offer direct links with Lille in 1hr25min, with Nantes or Rennes in 3hr15min and 3hr25min respectively, plus a longer ride through France, all the way to Bordeaux in 4hr30min and to Strasbourg on the extreme eastern edge of France in 1hr55min.
Champagne-Ardenne TGV Station:
So, on 10th June 2007, customers will be able to buy tickets for:

- 8 round trips daily to/from Reims;
- 3 round trips to/from airport Charles de Gaulle TGV in 30min;

This service called ‘Hop on the next train' applies, subject to availability, and without guarantees of a seat, exclusively for Railteam connections in the same station.
