Departing from abroad:

You will not be able to have your tickets reissued by an agent in a Belgian station. You will need to:
  • Purchase new train tickets.
  • Have the repurchased tickets personalised by the ticket inspector on board of the train.
  • Ask for a "Traveller's After-Service / Send to Home" form at an SNCF counter at the arrival station in France.
  • You must have your 6-character dossier reference number, a form of identity (required), and the banking card that was used to pay for your reservation on-line
Departing from France:

Go to the station with your dossier reference number.

You will be asked to pay for the tickets again, which will be issued by the agent at the same rate.

On site, ask for the "Traveller's After-Service / Send to Home" form for the reimbursement of the tickets that were not received.

Only the initial amount of the purchase made on www.tgv-europe.com will be refunded.

If you receive the train tickets in the meantime, please return them to the following address:

Rail Europe
Customer Service
BP 10012
B-1060 Brussels 6

Your tickets are sent to the address indicated in your confirmation message.
  • Since ticket dispatch is an automatic process, the address cannot be modified
  • If it is not correct, your tickets will be returned to the SNCF Dispatch Centre
When the tickets are returned to the dispatch centre and time permitting, your tickets are sent to the new address. In this case, please send us your dossier reference number by email as well as your first and last name, and correct mail address.

5I confirmed sending the tickets home, but now I want to retrieve them

Print this question / answer

Once confirmed, the method chosen to receive tickets cannot be changed, regardless of which SNCF sales outlet was used.

If you confirmed that you wanted the tickets sent to your home, you can no longer obtain your tickets using a self-service terminal (French stations only).

6Are train tickets sent home nominative?

Print this question / answer

In general, tickets issued by SNCF are not nominative. (The "billet imprimé®" and some of the other special rates are an exception to this).

The tickets bear the name of the person who has placed the order for practical reasons when the tickets are sent to home. However, they can be used freely and ticket inspectors do not check the identity of train ticket holders. The traveller must simply comply with the conditions pertaining to the rate of the ticket.
