Disabled passengers: towards greater accessibility
To improve the comfort of Disabled people or those in a similar situation, specific facilities are available in stations and on trains.
In station
- The pictogram indicates facilities designed for disabled people (equipment and routes);
- Wheelchairs are available in the arrivals halls of the biggest stations, lifts and ramps are provided to make it easier for them to board trains;
- The "porter" service, provided by porters recognisable by their red jackets, is free for people presenting an invalidity card.
On the train
- Each train has a space reserved for people in wheelchairs. Situated in first class, it is accessible by reservation with a standard class ticket;
- Available from inspectors, small wheelchairs make it easy to move about on board.
